David Greske and Black Bedsheet Books is proud to announce the release of Greske’s latest work, “Road Trip And Other Highway Horrors.” Greske resides near Lake Bde Maka Ska with his 35-year partner.
“Road Trip And Other Highway Horrors” is a 13-story collection of terrors waiting on seldom traveled roads. From desert highways to hidden backroads, these haunted ribbons of asphalt are best to be avoided.
A quartet of high-schoolers returning home from the movies encounter a strange man on the side of the road… A murderess who journeys into the desert to dispose of her husband does battle with strange beings from the sand… An over-the-road trucker tells a tale of alien road kill… A family embarks on a road trip that ends with dire consequences.
Mark Allan Gunnells, author of 2B and LUCID said: “Greske is a great wordsmith, but above all that, he’s a great entertainer…a storyteller at the top of his game.”
“Road Trip And Other Highway Horrors” is available at amazon.com, blackbedsheetbooks.com, or wherever fine books are sold.
Greske is the author of over 30 short stories and six novels. His stories have appeared in Black Ink Horror, The Literary Hatchet, and Nothing’s Sacred. “Next” and “Cyst” were featured podcast on The Wicked Library.
“Blood River,” his fourth book, was adapted into a full-length film by Christopher Forbes. Greske, along with Forbes, wrote the screenplay. It premiered in January 2013 at the Georgia Poison Peach Festival. The annual event, organized by Forbes, showcases a variety of films and animation by local and international filmmakers. “Blood River” is available on Amazon Prime Video and DVD.
