A Minneapolis School Board At-Large Candidate Forum is scheduled for July 16, 6-7:30 p.m.
at the Minneapolis Central Library (Pohlad Hall) 300 Nicollet Ave. The forum is sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Minneapolis.
All candidates for this non-partisan race have been invited. They are, in alphabetical order: Michael Baskins, Colin Beachy, Christin Crabtree, Hannah Gangestad, Clifton (CJ) Henderson and Stephanie Johnson. The four candidates who receive the most votes in the Primary Election on Aug. 11 will proceed to compete for the two At-Large School Board seats in the General Election on Nov. 3.
The event is free and open to the public. It will be live streamed via the League of Women Voters YouTube channel. An unedited recording will be available on our website after the forum with subtitles in multiple languages.
Written questions will be accepted during the forum and voters may submit questions in advance.
Early voting for the primary election continues through Aug. 10. Minneapolis voters may cast their ballots at the Minneapolis Elections Office or by requesting an absentee ballot.
