Most of trails reopened in Minneapolis

From the Metropolitan Council: As of Nov. 28, 2025, "most of the trails in Minneapolis have reopened! Specifically, the Kenilworth and Cedar Lake Trails are officially open between Cedar Lake Parkway and Target Field. The segment of the Kenilworth Trail between the Midtown Greenway and Cedar Lake Parkway remains closed for the ongoing tunnel systems house construction described in Wednesday's construction newsletter. There is also ongoing fencing work adjacent to the Cedar Lake Trail west of Target Field. The trail is open but narrowed until that work is complete. Thanks to you for your patience throughout the last six years. We know that this has been one of the biggest impacts to our community since construction began in 2020. We’re excited to return the trails to public use and we look forward to a celebration of their reopening once we thaw out in 2026."
